Deborah is a certified Early Childhood Educator and has been working at K.I.D.S. since 2014. She works in a variety of programs at Victoria Hill and is the parent of a little boy.
Tennille has been in the child care field for over 10 years and joined K.I.D.S. in 2007. She is a certified Early Childhood Educator and has her post-basic certifications as a Special Needs Educator.
Working with children who need extra support and their families is her passion. She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cooking. She is the parent of a baby boy.
Tania is a certified Early Childhood Educator and has her post-basic certifications as a Special Needs Educator. She has been in the field for over 25 years.
Tania joined the staff team at K.I.D.S. in 2005 and is currently developing an outdoor play program for the Victoria Hill preschool program. She is the parent of two children and has a passion for the natural environment.
Katie joined Queensborough K.I.D.S. in the fall of 2018. She is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a post-basic certification as a Special Needs Educator and brings her enthusiasm to her work with the three to five program.
Sommer joined K.I.D.S. in 2014 and is currently leading the Queensborough KIDS staff team.
She is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a post-basic certification as a Special Needs Educator and enjoys introducing science, sensory and literature experiences to children as ways to support their learning. She is the parent of two children and takes pleasure in exploring the outdoors.
Jessica is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a post-basic certification as a Special Needs Educator. She is currently working on completing her certification as Infant/Toddler Educator.
Jessica started her career at K.I.D.S. in 2017 and works in a variety of programs both at Victoria Hill and Queensborough. She inspires us all with her amazing creativity. Jessica’s hobbies are playing the piano, painting, and reading.
Anne is a certified Early Childhood Educator with post-basic certifications as Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Educator.
She joined the K.I.D.S. team in 2014 and works in the Infant/Toddler program. Anne recognizes the importance of the early years and is interested in providing meaningful experiences that reflect children’s interests. She lives with her husband, two children, and assorted pets and enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling, and reading.
Senab, a certified Early Childhood Educator, joined K.I.D.S. in 2014 and currently supports the staff team of the Out-of-School and preschool program at Victoria Hill. She is the parent of two children and loves the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Donna, a certified Early Childhood Educator, has been in the child care field for over thirty years.
Since 1996 she has been at K.I.D.S. She works within a team providing care and rich learning environments for children three to five years of age. Donna loves sharing songs, stories and art experiences with the children. She enjoys reading, socializing with lifelong friends and traveling.
Marion has been at K.I.D.S. since 2006, working with the school age group.
She uses her vast knowledge of arts and crafts projects to provide opportunities for the school age children. She is a mother to four adult children and grandparent to five grandchildren.
Nikki holds a Certificate as Teacher Assistant and has been at K.I.D.S. since 2009, working with the school age group.
The “Leaders” program benefits from Nikki’s love of the outdoors and her ability to plan great adventures for Pro-D day and summer break programs. Nikki enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with her family and pups.
Michelle has been employed at K.I.D.S. since 2007 and is a certified Early Childhood Educator with post-basic certifications as Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Educator.
She works primarily in the Infant/Toddler program. Michelle feels that the first three years of life are so important and appreciates the joy and humour that this age group brings to her life.
She looks forward to completing her goal of becoming more proficient in sign language. She is the parent to a baby girl.
Jo-Anne is a qualified Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years of experience in child care. Besides her post-basic ECE certifications as Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Educator, she holds a valid certification in administration of child care programs.
She has developed and administered several child care programs in the Lower Mainland. Jo-Anne has worked as the Director at K.I.D.S. since 1998, leading staff teams, supporting families, and welcoming students. She continues to advocate for quality child care for all children. She presents workshops on a variety of topics.
Jo-Anne has sat on the Provincial Child Care Council and contributes as a member to the Community Early Care and Learning committees. She is the parent of two adult children and the grandparent to three “grandboys”.
